Bowcars are a type of weapon/vehicle invented and produced on Jungle Island. Bowcars are a large, (car-sized to Humans), with the largest being 15 feet long, 7 1/2 feet wide and 5 feet tall. Mounted on top and in in the front of the bowcar is a 8 foot bow. It is used to fire bolts/arrows ranging in size from 2 1/2 - 7 1/2 feet long, and anywhere from the thickness of a average bolt/arrow to broomstick-sized. It is Smegolian-powered, and takes anywhere from 16-28 Smegolians rowing in a fashion similar to rowing a bike, but it usually takes more, as someone has to steer it and someone(sometimes a small group) has to load and fire the huge bow. It 4-8 wheels move at a top speed of 26 1/2 Mph.
It is usually used to hunt dangerous and hostile creatures that threaten them, but sometimes it is used during warfare or just as transportation. It was first made in the early-mid 2nd Age. It is not a true car as it is not powered by an engine.
